Electrical Permit Requirements
Before arriving in Yukon and prior to the start of production, it is essential that all incoming production companies understand the electrical permit requirements for filming in Yukon.
According to the Yukon Electrical Protection Act Regulations and the Canadian Electrical Code, there is a requirement for procurement of an electrical permit.
It is the responsibility of the production company to investigate and comply with all necessary permitting regulations when filming in Yukon.
