MusicYukon advocates business training needs for its members and development of the industry as a whole. It also works to develop educational programming and mentoring for its entry-level artists. It is run by an Executive Director and part-time contract staff.

 

KIAC (Klondike Institute of Art & Culture) KIAC is a non-profit, charitable organization created to encourage the development, presentation and celebration of the arts in order to enrich the social, cultural and economic well-being of Dawson and the Yukon.  KIAC contributes to the development of Yukon’s music industry by presenting local musicians in concert, offering master classes with visiting musicians, hosting monthly coffeehouses where emerging artists can gain experience, offering classes for industry professionals such as sound recording and sound production, partnering with the Dawson City Music Festival to provide a songwriter in residence program, and providing music lessons.

 

YWIM (Yukon Women in Music) fosters the musical passions of Yukon women who are exploring and expanding their creative horizons

 

Department of Tourism and Culture Arts Section mandate is to support and encourage the development of the visual literary and performing arts in the Yukon.
